North Korea / Iran / Russia
Magazine, Editorial Design, Copywriting
In this fictional political magazine, North Korea, Iran and Russia explain their ideas about national and world-political changes to the western world. We chose these countries because they are considered radical and uncompromising. Since their mother tongue is not English, the texts were translated using Google Translate. The irony of the work is emphasized by the partly confusing sentences.
There are three different editions of the magazine, each of which is incorporated into a poster which shows the word »power« in the respective language & country color, as well as the three main principles of the country in English. This brush font serves as a graphic element inside the magazine and appears in every edition in all three variants to point out the similarity of the three quite different systems.
