»Stille« (German for »silence«) is a book that deals with silence and loneliness in today's society. It is divided into a visually quiet, nature-related part and a distracting, technology-related part, which are independent, but are mixed throughout the book.

Nevertheless, the binding of the book allows to extract spreads from the book. Therefore the quiet part of the book can be actually muted, by combining all spreads to a large poster with a tree motif and thus the text is no longer visible.
