Brand Identity & Web Design
I had the pleasure of providing design support to the architecture firm Schork and Schneider Architects from it’s inception, handling a budget friendly mini brand identity, including logo and colors, as well as designing and implementing their website. The design was inspired by architectural drawings: as the firm was still young at the start of the project, black and white plan drawings were the primary visual elements. To give them space for its full impact, I developed a corporate identity based on the graphic lines and geometric forms of architectural visualizations. The web design utilizes a strict grid system to clearly separate content sections with black lines. These simple, clean lines are complemented by geometric shapes, such as those found in architectural drawings: for example, circles and squares, like those used to represent trees on drawings. These elements, colored in the firm's corporate colors, elevate the website from a minimalist to a modern online presence.
